Jenkintown, Pennsylvania (November 29, 2016) – Pitcairn, a leading family office, is continuing its annual participation with #GivingTuesday, the international movement dedicated to putting the “giving” back into the traditional gift-giving season. Founded in 2012, #GivingTuesday takes place this year on Tuesday, November 29.
Once again, Pitcairn is participating in the movement by supporting Philabundance, the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization. Pitcairn is delivering to the organization over 350 pounds of non-perishable food items that employees collected during its annual November food drive. Employees are also volunteering on #GivingTuesday at the Preston & Steve Camp Out for Hunger campaign, collecting non-perishable food items for Philabundance. And later this month, employees will extend the season of giving as volunteers at the Philabundance Hunger Relief Center.
