Jenkintown, Pennsylvania (November 18, 2015) – Continuing its annual participation with #GivingTuesday, Pitcairn, a leading multi-family office, is once again supporting the international movement dedicated to putting the “giving” back into the traditional gift-giving season. Founded in 2012, #GivingTuesday will take place this year on Tuesday, December 1 and offers another way to promote and celebrate the true purpose of giving, just as Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are today, synonymous with holiday shopping.
Pitcairn will once again participate in the movement by supporting Philabundance, the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization. Leading up to #GivingTuesday, Pitcairn will be holding “giving” events leading up to December 1, including an employee food drive during the month of November and a volunteer day at the Preston & Steve Camp Out for Hunger campaign, collecting non-perishable food items for Philabundance.
