Pitcairn Wins Family Wealth Report Awards: Best Multi-Family Office & Outstanding MFO Executive

Jenkintown, Pennsylvania (March 14, 2016) – Pitcairn, a leading family office, received three notable industry awards at the Family Wealth Report (FWR) Awards Gala in New York on March 10, 2016. The firm was named Best Multi-Family Office (National – up to and including $5 billion AUM/AUA), while Chief Investment Officer Rick Pitcairn was  named Most Outstanding Multi-Family Office Executive. Chairman Dirk Jungé, was honored with FWR’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

In commenting about the recipients of each award, Family Wealth Report indicated that Pitcairn was chosen by the judges as the multi-family office – national winner due to its “ability to deal with complex issues, as well as its strong management of long-term investments.” Announcing Rick Pitcairn as the most outstanding multi-family office executive, FWR said that “the winner of this award quite literally personifies their firm. Indeed judges commented favorably on this individual’s mentoring and coaching skills.”

The evening concluded with Dirk Jungé receiving FWR’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Introducing Dirk, industry consultant Jamie McLaughlin commented, “Dirk’s legacy to our industry, one that remains in an early stage of its evolution, is one of a visionary and builder in transitioning Pitcairn from a single family office to a true multi-family office, a model for our industry.”

ClearView Financial Media’s CEO, and publisher of Family Wealth Report, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations to all the winners. He said, “The firms who triumphed in these awards are all worthy winners, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards were judged solely on the basis of entrants’ submissions and their response to a number of specific questions, which had to be answered focusing on the client experience, not quantitative performance metrics. That is a unique, and I believe, compelling feature. These awards recognize the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence,’ ‘integrity,’ and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process – such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management.”

Pitcairn’s President and CEO Leslie Voth commented on the FWR Awards, “We were overwhelmed by this three-pronged acknowledgement of Pitcairn’s efforts in the family office space, not only for the firm’s performance, but for the management contributions made by two of our key executives. Personally, I was very gratified for the recognition Rick and Dirk received for their contributions to Pitcairn and the family office industry. Our entire team takes pride in these achievements. Having the important work we do for our clients acknowledged by such an auspicious industry organization is very satisfying.”
