Claire T. TinsmanFinancial Accountant
As a member of the Finance Team, Claire is responsible for the accounts payable process, reconciling various accounts, and analyzing financial activity. On a day-to-day basis, she completes financial accounting tasks, monitors business activity metrics, and administers corporate cash disbursements. She also prepares analysis and statements to support audit functions and bank examinations. Claire has the pleasure of working with all departments of the company.
Before joining Pitcairn, Claire was a Trust Administrator for CamaPlan Self Directed IRA. In her previous position, she assisted with the reconciliation of daily balance sheets, investigated and resolved account discrepancies, paid Federal and State taxes related to client transactions, and communicated with clients to answer questions and keep them informed.
Claire graduated summa cumma laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Finance and a minor in Accounting. She is a Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) as designated by the American Bankers Association.
Away from the office, Claire enjoys baking for friends and family and is striving to master the art of souffle-making. She is determined to defeat gravity and keep her souffles from collapsing. When she has time away from work, Claire likes to travel. Her dream vacations include Ireland where she hopes to visit her great grandmother’s birthplace in Galway and New Zealand where she has cousins to show her a true Kiwi experience.
