Hazaifa Liaquit

He is responsible for accurate income and expense coding, tracking various investments, investment partnership accounting, maintaining general ledgers, processing accounts payable invoices, and preparing financial statements.

Before joining Pitcairn, Hazaifa held the position of Assistant Controller with The Wireless Experience, a leading AT&T wireless and premium video solutions retailer operating in four states and headquartered in Manahawkin, NJ. Over the course of his career, Hazaifa held increasingly senior accounting roles with companies representing a variety of industries, including food distribution, direct-to-consumer e-commerce, medical technology, and enterprise car rental.

Hazaifa earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York (CUNY). He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany and is currently pursuing his CPA license.

Born in Quetta, Pakistan, Hazaifa moved to Brooklyn, NY at age 12. When he was a young boy, he was captain of his cricket team, but these days he’s an avid football fan and enthusiastically follows the NY Jets. He currently lives in NJ with his wife and his young son and daughter.
