As Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications, Jared partners across the firm to develop effective corporate messaging and client communications, while shaping and nurturing Pitcairn’s brand and amplifying its thought leadership through clear, compelling, and creative messages, materials, and mediums.
A storyteller and strategist, Jared also supports the creation of narratives that resonate with clients and the marketplace – strengthening the value of Wealth Momentum®, Pitcairn’s proprietary, experience-based family office model, and the Gen7 Project, the firm’s thought leadership and learning lab. In addition, Jared leads the company’s public relations, social media, and corporate sponsorships, while supporting internal communications initiatives that foster the office family culture that translates to a best-in-class client experience.
Before joining Pitcairn in 2021, Jared held marketing leadership positions across financial services in the areas of retirement and tax planning, investment management, and financial education. Most recently, Jared led strategic communications and content creation at The American College of Financial Services, the nation’s largest accredited institution devoted to financial services education.
Jared holds a BA in Journalism/Political Science from Pennsylvania State University, where he returned to write a historical guide to Penn State football in the years following his graduation. As a twice-published author and former journalist, Jared believes the best communications strategy follows the time-tested principle of “the right message to the right person at the right time.”
Enjoying pursuits that are never perfected, Jared loves golfing, writing, and trying any food at least once. Yet, most of his energy is spent chasing after his two young kids with his wife, vacationing at the Delaware beaches, or finding the next golf course to conquer as an excuse to see the world.
