Leslie C. Voth

Chairman, Chief Executive Officer & President

Having led Pitcairn’s transformation from a century-old single family office into an industry-leading multi-family office, Leslie has a unique perspective on managing the inevitable change that all families must navigate to achieve multi-generational success. As the first chairman of the board not part of the Pitcairn family, Leslie’s expanded role is the latest step in the firm’s rapid growth and strategic evolution. She believes that a prosperous family office must focus on families as people, not just portfolios. It is this guiding principle, coupled with her immense industry experience, invaluable insights, and fearless leadership skills that have contributed to the long-term growth of the firm and its families.

As CEO and President, Leslie oversees all client relationships and guides Pitcairn’s unique, learning-driven culture. As Chairman of the Board, she is directly responsible for the overall corporate planning and strategic growth of the firm. She has played a vital role in Pitcairn’s expansion, navigating the implementation of an industry-leading 100% open architecture investment platform and developing a total wealth management strategy utilized by clients.

Leslie spearheaded Pitcairn’s Wealth Momentum® family office model to specifically address the complex interplay of family and financial dynamics. This new approach focuses on helping families navigate key points of conflict and opportunity, including liquidity events, generational transfers, and single family office evolutions. Leslie has built Pitcairn’s internal culture around this approach, with multi-generational client service teams and a constant focus on continuous learning and developing new skills. This knowledge, leadership, and innovation has established Leslie as a respected voice in the industry.

Education and continuous learning have always been a primary objective for Leslie. She’s passionate about empowering rising leaders to gain the knowledge and skills they need in order to meet the needs of wealthy families. Additionally, she founded the Pitcairn Women’s Forum, the firm’s pioneering and much-praised educational program targeted to women.

Leslie has received multiple industry accolades over the years. In 2018, she was awarded “Multi-Family Office Executive” by Family Wealth Alliance. She also received the top honor of “Women in Wealth Management” by Family Wealth Report in 2014 and 2018 for her individual contributions to the wealth management industry. She was named “Family Office Leader of the Year” by Family Office Review in 2015 for her dedication as a leader and for her contributions to the family office industry. Leslie is regularly quoted in leading industry publications including: Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, The International Family Offices Journal, Private Wealth, and Family Wealth Report and has authored the chapter “The Lifecycle of the Family Office” in the Handbook for Advisors: Family Offices.

In addition, Leslie is a member of the Wigmore Association, a global collaboration of chief executive officers and chief investment officers from eight family offices across North America, Europe, Australia, and South America. The group, which launched in 2011, exchanges views, research, and insight to enable members to enhance their global perspectives and enrich their business models and investment processes.

Having joined Pitcairn in 1993, Leslie served in several leadership roles including Director of Marketing & Communications, President of the Wealth Management Group, and President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Pitcairn, Leslie was Vice President of the Meritor Financial Group. She holds a degree from Wheaton College.

Having dreamed of renovating a barn for years, Leslie accomplished a bucket list item when she and her husband moved to a small farm in 2017. With an incredible eye for design, a passion for the culinary arts, and an immense love for family and friends, Leslie takes great joy in entertaining and creating memories in her restored barn. She also loves everything about the classic European cities—the food, architecture, gardens, and art.
