Sandy oversees the Relationship Management teams and is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the financial plans of Pitcairn’s multi-generational families. His expertise on succession planning, generational wealth transfer planning, asset allocation, and tax optimization strategies helps Pitcairn client families grow and preserve their wealth. He serves as a member of Pitcairn’s Leadership Team, as well as Investment Policy, Investment Strategy, and Investment Due Diligence committees.
Sandy earned his BA at Wesleyan University. He holds the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and Certified Trust and Financial Adviser. Prior to joining Pitcairn in 2003, Sandy was Manager of Business Development for Asset Management and Trust Services at Vanguard Group.
A forthright and enthusiastic leader, Sandy is committed not only to helping his clients define their success, but his colleagues as well. He serves as a mentor at Pitcairn, encouraging his team to expand their skill sets and deepen their knowledge in order to advance their careers.
A first generation American, Sandy enjoys coaching high school football, cooking, and retreating to his cabin in the Poconos with his wife and family. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Sandy aspires to learn a second language.
