Waamiq Griffin

With an analytical and thorough approach, Waamiq reconciles data aggregation feeds and manages the lifecycle of private equity and hedge fund investments. These responsibilities include reconciling cash and security level breaks and processing corporate actions, as well as posting valuation updates, capital calls, and redemptions.

Before joining Pitcairn, Waamiq was an Investment Reconciliation Specialist for Venerable. In his previous position, he performed various types of account reconciliation on a daily basis, including cash and trade reconciliation. In addition, he was responsible for collaborating with internal partners to research and rectify unknown payments.

Waamiq earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware.

Outside of Pitcairn, Waamiq enjoys staying in touch with his creative side by practicing photography and engaging in the arts. His ideal weekend would involve watching classic movies and cooking great meals. Waamiq has an extensive sneaker collection and hopes to one day sit courtside for an NBA game.
