Maryann Bechta

An experienced accountant with a passion for serving multigenerational families, Maryann is committed to delivering integrated financial solutions with precision and care.

Maryann is a manager in Pitcairn’s CFO Services group, where she oversees the delivery of accounting, financial reporting, and tax-related services for the firm’s single-family office clients. She collaborates closely with other members of the client service team and works in coordination with external advisors to deliver comprehensive, personalized financial solutions.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in tax and financial services. Before joining Pitcairn, she served as the tax manager for a single-family office in Baltimore, where she managed tax compliance, trust administration, private foundation financials, and family gift programs. Earlier in her career, she served as a fund controller at the private equity firm Sterling Partners and as a tax senior associate at PwC.

Maryann has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.

A passionate collaborator, Maryann enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise with Pitcairn’s multidisciplinary team. Outside of work, she enjoys golfing with her husband, exploring parks with her dog Georgia, and visiting the New Jersey Shore.
