Managing Director, West Coast CFO Services

Jack Olson

CPA, CFA

Known for his thoughtful, highly personal approach, Jack serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to our client families navigating the financial, operational, and lifestyle dimensions of wealth.

Based in our San Francisco office, Jack works closely with ultra-high-net-worth families to help simplify the complexities of significant wealth and support the stewardship of family assets. He collaborates with clients to oversee investment operations, financial reporting, estate and tax planning execution, and the day-to-day coordination that supports a well-run family office. Jack also works alongside clients’ attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, and other advisors to help ensure every aspect of a family’s financial life is aligned, organized, and intentionally managed.

In addition to guiding complex financial matters, Jack advises on the oversight of real estate, insurance, and other specialty and lifestyle assets. Families value his calm, detail-oriented perspective, as well as his ability to bring clarity and continuity to increasingly sophisticated financial lives.

Before joining Pitcairn, Jack held senior leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Union Square Global Wealth. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at CSI Capital Management and Wetherby Asset Management (now LNW). He began his career at PwC, where he built a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and fiduciary oversight.

Jack is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and CFA Charterholder.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching youth sports, and is also an avid golfer, skier, and runner.
