IT Project & Business Analyst

Alexander Zwier

Alex helps turn emerging technology into smarter ways of working, focusing on innovation that's useful, intuitive, and lasting.

As an IT Project and Business Analyst, Alex bridges the firm’s business and technology functions. He works with colleagues across finance, wealth management, compliance, and operations to translate business needs into practical technology solutions, improve processes, and guide projects from initial concept through implementation.

With more than 10 years of experience in business analysis, technology, and project management in financial services, Alex brings expertise in systems analysis, requirements gathering, process improvement, and project delivery. Before joining Pitcairn, he worked at Cash Connect, a division of WSFS Bank, where he progressed through roles in production support, business analysis, and ultimately senior systems analysis.

At Pitcairn, Alex also plays an active role in advancing the firm’s use of artificial intelligence. He helps colleagues identify meaningful AI use cases, provides training and ongoing support, and ensures new technologies translate into more efficient workflows and better ways of working. He is particularly energized by opportunities to use technology to give colleagues more time to focus on the work that matters most to Pitcairn’s client families.

Alex earned a degree in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Delaware.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, as well as friends and family. He stays active at the gym, on the golf course, and on the tennis court. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, he also usually has a home improvement project underway.
