Eric Gaul

Bringing excellence to Pitcairn’s Leadership Team, Eric’s focus is directing Pitcairn’s overall financial strategy.

Eric is a critical thinker who sees an opportunity in every situation. He develops and recommends processes to improve efficiency and delivery of high-quality services to our clients. In addition, his collaborative nature is instrumental in implementing transition plans and administering advice to single-family offices.

He provides oversight to the firm’s Finance, Tax, and Family Office Services teams and leads the development and implementation of solutions for single family office clients. Eric is a member of Pitcairn’s Strategic Planning Team, Investment Strategy Committee, Investment Due Diligence Committee, Operating Committee, and Technology Committee. He also works closely with the various committees of the Pitcairn entity boards (Compensation, Capital, Audit, Risk Management, & Governance).

Joining our team in 2002, Eric has served in a variety of roles at Pitcairn. Previously, Eric was Managing Director of Family Office Services where he coordinated all aspects of clients’ financial planning. As someone who enjoys taking on new challenges, he excelled at his role as Wealth Management Project Manager and was instrumental in designing and implementing new processes when Pitcairn moved to its 100% open architecture investment platform.

Eric earned his BS in Accounting at the University of Delaware. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Certified Public Accountant, and holds a PA license in Life Insurance. Eric is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Philadelphia, and the Financial Planning Association.

Eric enjoys escaping anywhere warm where he can be on the beach and play on the water, whether it’s boating, wakeboarding, or fishing. On the weekends, Eric unwinds either on the golf course or the soccer field where he coaches youth soccer. Eric hopes to travel more in the future and longs to go on an epic road trip to Machu Picchu.
