Matthew Breidenbach

He provides relationship management services to identify client needs and resolve issues in collaboration with Pitcairn’s Family Office Group. Additionally, Matt provides oversight and management of accounting services and is a liaison between clients, family office personnel, external service providers and regulatory authorities relating to client business dealings and related tax processing.

Before joining Pitcairn, Matt was a director of financial reporting & analytics in the Emerald Family Office & Advisory at Wilmington Trust Company. He provided a top-level financial governance infrastructure view to proactively identify planning and other opportunities to improve his clients’ financial situations. Prior to that, Matt was an accounting & tax manager as well as a wealth relationship manager at Wilmington Trust.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Franklin & Marshall College. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and he also holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP). Additionally, Matt is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.

On the weekend Matt enjoys spending time outside with his wife, Jess, and their three daughters. He is always eager to escape to anywhere with a beach, usually the Jersey Shore. When he gets the chance, he loves to spend time on the golf course. Matt also enjoys travel and hopes to visit Hawaii and various countries in Europe in the future.
