Managing Director, Research
Robert Mileff
CAIA®Rob leads Pitcairn’s alternative investment research platform, overseeing manager selection and portfolio construction across liquid and illiquid alternative strategies.
He is responsible for building and maintaining a differentiated network of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset managers to support the firm’s multi-asset investment architecture.
As Pitcairn’s subject-matter expert for alternative and private investments, Rob serves on the firm’s Investment Strategy and Due Diligence Committees. He partners closely with relationship management teams to help clients understand the role of alternatives within sophisticated, tax-aware portfolios and to enhance the overall investment experience.
With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, Rob brings deep expertise in ultra-high-net-worth wealth management, manager research, and investment technology. Prior to joining Pitcairn, he held alternative investment leadership roles at Fortigent, EnTrust Global, and Monroe Vos, and led consulting engagements for leading investment technology firms including SS&C, Backstop Solutions, and CENTRL.
Rob earned a BS in Finance from the University of Oklahoma and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.
