Manager, CFO Services

Simon Iau

With more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, Simon brings deep expertise in investment reporting, financial analysis, and family office accounting to Pitcairn’s CFO Services team.

Simon is a manager on Pitcairn’s CFO Services team, supporting family office clients with investment accounting and reporting, due diligence, compliance, and a broad range of financial and accounting needs. He brings extensive expertise across wealth management, investment management, financial reporting, and corporate accounting.

Based on the West Coast, Simon works closely with members of Pitcairn’s client service teams to help deliver accurate, timely financial information and reporting. His responsibilities include investment and client accounting, KYC oversight, financial analysis, cash flow management, tax support, business support, and compliance. He also serves as Accounting Reporting Manager at Union Square Global Wealth Management.

Prior to joining Pitcairn, Simon spent more than 20 years with Union Square Investment Company (dba Union Square Global Wealth Management). Earlier in his career, he served for seven years as a Senior Accountant with TBS Couriers/Trans-Box Systems. His extensive experience gives him a strong understanding of the complex accounting and reporting needs of families and their investments.

Simon earned both a Master of Accounting (MAcc) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time with friends, reading, watching movies, and traveling with his wife whenever they have the opportunity.
