Relationship Manager

George leads one of Pitcairn’s Relationship Management teams, advising multi-generational families. He is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring long-term financial plans, focused on asset allocation, portfolio management, and tax planning, that meet clients’ short-term needs and long-term objectives. 

George interacts with clients on a daily basis and collaborates with members of Pitcairn’s Tax, Investments, Planning, Trust Administration, and Operations teams to design and implement appropriate investment strategies and financial and estate plans. In particular, he focuses on succession planning, generational wealth transfer planning, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and tax optimization strategies to achieve the goal of wealth preservation for clients. 

George also works closely with families on matters of philanthropy through private family foundations, donor-advised funds and various other giving techniques.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, George served as a Personal Financial Analyst on the Pitcairn Relationship Team. Before joining Pitcairn in 2007, George worked for PNC Bank, first as an internal auditor, responsible for ensuring personal and corporate trust departments adhered to policies and procedures and then as a Trust Administrator as part of a team that serviced clients in all aspects of personal trusts.

George earned a BS in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University and holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

At home, George can be found in the kitchen, where he enjoys cooking and baking desserts with his four daughters. George and his family also love family movie nights with horror films being George’s favorite. George also aspires to one day learn how to play the bagpipes.
