Family Office Accountant

As Family Office Accountant, Marlene is responsible for performing specialized accounting and reporting activities for Pitcairn’s family office clients, including accurate income and expense coding, tracking various investments, investment partnership accounting, cash management, and tax analysis. 

Marlene collaborates with members of the Wealth Management, Tax, and Operations teams, as well as third-party client advisors, to provide a full suite of comprehensive services to client families.

Marlene brings 20 years of tax and accounting experience to Pitcairn. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Finance Manager at First Contact HR, Inc. 

She has a BS in Education from Temple University and a Certificate in Accounting from Montgomery County Community College. Marlene has her Notary Public License through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a recipient of the Certified 401(K) Plan Fiduciary Designation from The Plan Sponsor University in 2016.

Marlene has zest for adventure in the great outdoors, particularly walking and biking. She and her family enjoy vacationing near the beach where they can be near the water, boating and indulging on seafood. In addition to her work at Pitcairn, Marlene has been a devoted second grade teacher at the Beth David School for over 25 years.
